A hot stone loads up, cuts slower and can burn the chain. Kool Grind is a silicone-based wax stick that cools and lubricates the stone as you sharpen.

With the motor running, touch the stone to the stick after every third tooth or so. Works with any abrasive wheel, including Granberg's 12V sharpeners. Made in the USA.
